Patient Care Coordinator - Emergency Services  (Req. #2002-247)

Primarily Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with 24-hour accountability for operational activities.  Endurance for shift rotation required when staffing requirements cannot be met.

Kuakini Medical Center

Responsible for the daily operational activities of the unit.  Is responsible for assuring complicance of the unit with established nursing care standards and regulatory requirements in the planning, organizing, directing, and implementing nursing care for the unit.

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Hawaii RN licence required; Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred.  One to two years of med/surg or critical care nursing experience, required.  Minimum of three years experience in ER nursing, preferred.  ACLS & Healthcare Provider required with retraining once every two years.
