|Description of Position
The Manager, Quality and Patient Outcomes is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, direction and controlling of Quality and Patient Outcomes Management and Infection Control departments and programs. The Manager is responsible for monitoring the health systems compliance to the standards and guidelines of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), regulatory requirements related to quality measures and participation with local and national quality initiatives.
|Qualifications and Requirements
Graduate of a four year college or university required or equivalent education (e.g. nursing degree) and experience in health care. Graduate degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration or Public Health in a related health field preferred. Minimum five (5) years work experience in health or health care organization. Minimum three (3) years management or supervisory experience and direct work experience in quality management required.
