Start Celebrating the Holidays by Supporting Kuakini Foundation
October 29, 2012
Kuakini Foundation will host its 9th annual “Holiday Trees and Treasures” fundraiser on Friday, November 16, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. in the Coral Ballroom at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. The event includes a prime rib buffet, holiday market and silent auction.
The popular silent auction will feature handcrafted holiday trees, wreaths and centerpieces as well as Koa Private Reserve Kona coffee, an autographed Hawaii Five-O script and photo, golf merchandise and amenities, restaurant and hotel gift certificates, wine baskets and much more. Some of the items for sale at the holiday market include Virginia peanuts, Seattle chocolates, Kaua‘i-made Miki Honey and Hawaiian Crispies Okoshi. The Yim Brothers will be providing the musical entertainment.
Tickets are $175 per person ($95 is tax deductible). Reserved tables for ten guests range from $2,000 to $8,000 and include special sponsor-table gifts. A portion of the table reservations are also tax deductable.
Holiday Trees and Treasures is Kuakini Foundation’s major fundraising event. Proceeds help support Kuakini Health System with acquisitions of new high-tech equipment and capital improvement projects.
