Electrocardiogram (EKG) - A recording of electrical impulses generated by the heart to detect cardiac diseases and irregular heartbeat.
- Holter Monitoring - A 24-hour test monitoring the heartbeat while a person is performing daily activities to detect any irregularity of the heart activity.
- Treadmill Stress Test (TST) - A recording of heart activity during exercise and the immediate recovery period after exercise.
- Echocardiogram (ECHO) - An ultrasound scan using Pulsed Wave Doppler and Color Flow Doppler. This procedure converts soundwave information into 2-dimensional imaging of the heart and provides a method to detect various cardiac abnormalities.
- Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) - An ultrasound scan done from within the esophagus, providing a much clearer image of the heart.
