| Description of Position |
Conducts and documents research associated with autopsies for various projects. Performs On-call duties to procure autopsy cases per the study protocols. Obtains completed signed consent and other required forms. Preps morgue and assists pathology assistants in removal of tissue samples and organs. Transports specimens to and from the pathology lab and arranges for shipment as needed. Reviews charts, records and forms for accuracy and enters data into the database, follows up on any missing data on coding forms. Conducts caregiver/family proxy interviews as assigned.

| Qualifications and Requirements |
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) (or equivalent) in relating science fields, 1 to 2 years experience in research or other health environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and do measurements. Excellent communication skills with individuals of diverse backgrounds, Japanese language skills desirable. Current Driver’s license - vehicle with state required liability insurance coverage.
