| Description of Position |
Performs a variety of duties, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment, assembling surgical instrument sets, and distributing patient-care supplies and equipment. Assists with the orientation of new employees, funtions as a resource person regarding supplies and equipment, and performs charge duties when assigned.

| Qualifications and Requirements |
High school diploma or equivalent, required. Completion of a Central Service Technician course with certification desired, or must successfully complete course within 1-1/2 years of hire. Central Service and/or Operating Room experience desired. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and supplies required.
