Naming Opportunities for New Research Building
Ground breaking for the new Kuakini Research building is scheduled for Spring 2010. The facility will be home to Kuakini’s internationally and nationally recognized research projects and medical scientists.
Kuakini's new Research Building will be located adjacent to Kuakini Medical Center on the makai-ewa corner of the Kuakini campus. It will include a secured frozen tissue and blood specimen storage facility and a repository laboratory that will prepare specimens for storage as well as provide a work area for specimen analysis. There will also be a lecture hall, conference rooms, patient exam rooms, and offices for the Kuakini Honolulu Heart Program, Kuakini Honolulu-Asia Aging Study, and other new research projects sponsored by Kuakini.
If you are interested in having your name or the name of a loved one associated with the discoveries that will be made at Kuakini’s new Research Building, there are naming opportunities at different levels of giving. The donor recognition showcase for the new Kuakini Research Building will be located on the ground floor of the Medical Center, across from the Gift Shop.
