| Description of Position |
Works with and assists the anesthesia provider in the delivery of the quality anesthesia services to achieve the goals of the Anesthesia Department. Participates in all functions related to anesthesia equipment, supplies, and services, and assists with clerical work as necessary.

| Qualifications and Requirements |
High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Previous work experience in a hospital environment preferred. Training as an Anesthesia Technician preferred. One (1) year experience in patient care or related patient care area preferred. National ASATT certification as an Anesthesia Technician preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS), Level C required, with retraining once every two years.
