|Description of Position
Applies the nursing process through assessment, formulating nursing diagnosis, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating plans of care for assigned patients, following established standards of nursing practice as delineated by the Medical Center . Works collaboratively with ancillary nursing personnel, and promoted teamwork among all members of the healthcare team.
|Qualifications and Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Hawaii required. Minimum one (1) year critical care nursing experience required. Completion of basic critical care nursing course, or equivalent required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required after one (1) year in the critical care unit, recertification once every two years.
