Managing Director, Facilities Management
Regular Full-Time (Req # 2014-160) Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, day shift, with 24-hour on-call status. Must be physically able to respond to off-shift emergencies/situations at the hospital when necessary.

The Managing Director, Facilities Management is responsible for the planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling of Biomedical Engineering, Communications, Maintenance, Plant Operations, Security, Environmental Services, and Transport in accordance with established standards, policies, procedures, legal, contractual, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), corporate and regulatory requirements. The Managing Director also coordinates construction projects for the Health System as directed. In addition, the Managing Director facilitates cooperative and collaborative relationships among all Health System departments and services to achieve and maintain efficient operations of the Health System’s facilities.
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, or equivalent, required. A minimum of three (3) years experience in managing a Maintenance Department desired. Knowledge in areas of Biomedical Engineering, Communications, Environmental Services and Security preferred; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifcations to perform the essential functions of this position.
