Kuakini Medical Center (KMC) is a nonprofit organization that operates an eleemosynary acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission. KMC is licensed for 212 acute medical/surgical beds and 24 critical care beds. KMC is a tertiary teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Hawaii’s School of Medicine, School of Public Health and School of Social Work, as well as the University of Hawaii, Kapiolani Community College and Hawaii Pacific University School of Nursing and allied health professional training programs with the community colleges.

Kuakini is committed to providing safe and quality health care to the community through areas of excellence including Ambulatory Care, Cardiovascular Services, Emergency Services, Executive Health Program, Gastroenterology Services, all digital Imaging Services, Medical/Surgical Services, Oncology Services, Orthopedic Surgery, Pulmonary Services, Rehabilitation Services, and Sleep Disorders Center.
